“I love working with and helping children grow. Every child you met ha their own story I learn from the children just as most as they learn from me.   Why you ask? Well, to be honest, for me it is like my parents house it what I know you can only have one parents house their is only one Partners in learning.  I have seen other child care center in Rowan county. They are not the same to me. I have been there for more then 11 years its were I belong.  If I did not teach at partners in learning, I would probably not teach anymore. ~Megan McIntier.

Rob Gay

rob1robertI am now a rising senior at Wingate University. Without the administration and cooperative staff that I had the privilege of working with, I simply would not be where I am today. Even though they hated to see my leave everyone at PIL played a big role in helping me continue my education. This place taught me to think before acting, love without conditions, and that every child deserves someone who will believe in them. I miss it so much! Prayers and blessings to everyone at PIL.

Erin Pastushok

erin-p1erin-pastushokMy time at Partners In Learning truly set the foundation for my professional journey. Most importantly it gave me the passion for Early Childhood Education, that I still have to this day. Norma has been my mentor for over 20 years now and I truly believe I would not be where I am today without having her guide me and giving me a chance with my first real job after college. I remember her telling me I had the gift and the Early Childhood Education was my passion and life from that moment on. Although, I left Partners over 10 years ago it will always be home to me. I have gone on to work as an Infant/Toddler specialist for the DCDEE, and at corporate centers as a principal and most recently promoted as the Education Manager for Education Department of my company. I will always cherish my time as one of the first Inclusion Specialist at Partners and know that I made a difference and continue to make a difference in children’s lives. And it all started at Partners In Learning!!
