As a little girl growing up in a small bedroom apartment in Concord, NC., I would play teacher with my brothers, not knowing that one day this would become my passion and a reality.

I have an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and thirteen years experience in child care. The Lord has allowed my heart to be touched and accepted by so many precious children in my life. In so many ways, I feel as if my childhood dream has become reality.

I have two daughters, two sons and two grandsons who I love with all of me. They mean the world to me, and it’s because of them that I strive to be the best I can be.

Krishna Whitner

My name is Krishna Whitner also known to some as Krissy. I am a proud mother of two beautiful daughters and two handsome sons. I was born in New York and raised for the most part in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I have lived in Salisbury, NC since 1998.  I attended Rowan Cabarrus community college for 1 ½ years where I studied and received my credentials and other certifications in the Early-childhood teacher associate program.  I choose this field of work because I have a passion to positively change the lives of children and their families as much as I am able. Whether, it’s through education, mentoring and modeling, advising, assisting, self-awareness and any other positive ways.  From the age twelve until now I have always actively participated in the lives of children by babysitting, youth mentoring programs, community youth events, raising my own, to even becoming a neighborhood mom. I am now an active staff member of the Partners and Learning family. I look forward to us building, bonding and growing together; creating positive experiences and memories for us all.
