Partners in Learning invites you to a milestone evening, our 10th Annual “Just As I Am” Fashion Show, reimagined this year as a celebration of 30 years of impact, inclusion, and the remarkable children and families who have shaped our mission.
A Show Born from Love
This beloved annual tradition began as a tribute to Jacob Usher, a cherished Partners in Learning alumnus with Down syndrome who passed away from a congenital heart defect at the age of seven. Jacob’s joyful spirit and boundless love for life left a permanent mark on everyone he touched, and inspired the creation of a fashion show where children with diverse needs could step into the spotlight and shine, just as they are.
Now in its 10th year, “Just As I Am” has grown into one of our most anticipated community events, raising awareness of developmental disorders and celebrating the extraordinary qualities and talents of children and families in our community.
